Shantui
The SMT50-G2 is a half-metre cold planer on Shantui’s new-generation Stage IV platform, fitted with a sun canopy and a discharge conveyor. The conveyor loads milled material directly into trucks, keeping the working lane clear.
It is designed for municipal road maintenance work, milling and texturing asphalt and concrete pavements in towns and on access roads. Drum speed is set by the operator to match the material being cut.
Cutting force reaches 21 kN (31% up) and drawbar pull rises from 50 kN to 82 kN (62% up). The milling drum offers three working gears, and magnetic-rack cylinder sensors with proportional control improve cut consistency.
A Dongfeng Cummins B3.9 engine is used for economical, proven performance. Key hydraulic and electrical components come from Rexroth, EPEC and Kaselmann/Jiesimann, with structural parts from specialist suppliers.
A new engine and hydraulic layout improves access. Two hood doors open 90 degrees and the fuel tank swings out for large service space, while a small hydraulic reservoir keeps maintenance cost down.
A 7-inch colour touchscreen and multi-function integrated lever simplify operation. A conveyor camera shows the loading area, drum slow-rotation eases bit changes, and the seat is upgraded over the previous model.

The conveyor swivels 25 degrees left and right for truck loading. Canopy, lighting and water-spray package options can be quoted to your site conditions.
