A Chinese multinational industrial-equipment group — engines, trucks, construction and agricultural equipment, quoted and delivered as one order.
Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SDHI) was formed in 2009, when Shandong Province merged Weichai Holding Group, Shandong Construction Machinery Group and Shandong Automotive Industry Group. The Group is headquartered in Jinan and built around heavy-duty powertrains and complete vehicles.
The Group states it ranks first worldwide in sales of heavy-duty engines, heavy-duty transmissions and heavy-duty trucks, and first in China for agricultural equipment and bulldozers (per group official disclosures).
