Shantui
The SM200M-G HD is Shantui’s new-generation 2-metre-class large cold planer, rated at 503 kW to China Stage IV. It is built for large-area removal of surface defects on highways, graded asphalt roads, airfield runways and port yards, plus concrete pavement texturing.
The machine runs on a four-track undercarriage with an 850 mm discharge conveyor that swivels 65 degrees either side. A 1,120 L fuel tank supports long shifts between refuelling.
The 503 kW electronic engine carries large power reserve for variable site conditions. A large-displacement conveyor motor raises discharge capacity by 25%; one-key operation with stored depth presets speeds up repeat cuts, and the wide conveyor swivel gives a broad receiving area.
Emergency operation and construction data management are built in. A full fault self-diagnosis and warning system monitors the machine; steering zero, cut-depth zero, mast lift rate and travel lever parameters can all be calibrated on site. A remote-control system is optional for special sites.
Rear-mounted dual-fan on-demand cooling improves fuel economy. The water system has blockage alarms to extend bit life, the small hydraulic reservoir lowers service cost, and Shantui’s quick-change bit seats last 25% longer.
A standard rear-view camera improves site safety. A rotomoulded fuel tank keeps the fuel system clean, and four-track braking gives reliable stopping.
Waist-in design on both sides removes blind spots. The powertrain is mounted on vibration-isolation parts to reduce working vibration, and the blowing-type cooling duct is routed away from the operator station.
