Shantui
The SMT100-G is Shantui’s new-generation 1-metre hydraulic cold planer, rated at 162 kW to China Stage IV. It mills and removes surface-course defects on urban and rural asphalt roads, and can also texture concrete pavements on airfield runways and at port terminals.
Working speed reaches 40 m/min. A 350 L fuel tank and 700 L water tank support long working stints without refuelling or water top-up.
The 162 kW electronic engine meets China Stage IV and carries large power reserve. Engine speed is controlled automatically to cut fuel use by around 10%, working speed reaches 40 m/min, and the 350 L fuel tank plus 700 L water tank extend the working interval.
Key hydraulic and electrical components use imported brands. Core structural parts such as the work equipment are made from high-strength wear-resistant steel for roughly doubled strength and life.
Intelligent cylinder levelling, a multi-function lever and a 7-inch display make operation straightforward. A conveyor camera shows the loading area, and drum slow-rotation eases bit replacement.
Engine and hydraulic service parts are laid out in a new, accessible arrangement. Four cover doors open 90 degrees to enlarge the service space.
The machine is built on a new platform with family styling. The canopy, front hood and operator station use moulded panels for a cleaner appearance.
