The Cummins 221 kW engine meets China Stage IV emissions with low noise and strong output, covering a wide range of jobs. An ECO mode saves fuel and cuts noise, and the engine pre-filter extends air-filter service intervals for reliable operation.

An imported Finnish EPEC controller works with Shantui's smart management system for continuous, stable paving. A large color display monitors work parameters in real time and runs fault diagnosis. A MOBA contact-type leveling system comes standard, and a 3D paving system makes the work visual and digital, raising efficiency and accuracy. The smart heating system adds temperature sensors on the left/right base and extension sections, with per-section temperature display, automatic heating and constant-temperature control. The upgraded three-parameter screed lifting control gives imprint-free stops. A truck-guidance system simplifies interaction with dump trucks, and electric pins make setup simple.

The new double-layer four-slide-rail support resists torsional deformation. The base section telescopes from 3 to 6 m, and maximum paving width reaches 9.3 m. The single-vibrator closed high-pressure drive handles heavy loads, and amplitude is adjustable (2/4/6/8) for stabilized-base and asphalt work. Independent electric heating heats while paving. Hydraulic crown adjustment and electrically driven arm hooks give one-touch setup.

Independent left/right microcomputer proportional hydraulic control gives good low-speed stability and straight-line travel. The Shantui undercarriage wears well and lasts long, keeping paving speed steady. Automatic hydraulic tensioning removes daily maintenance, and the disc-spring anti-shock design lowers tensioning force to extend track life.

The large-capacity hopper takes material quickly and cuts truck-switch time for continuous paving on difficult sites. Twin flip cylinders speed up hopper closing and raise productivity. The thickened hopper bottom plate resists deformation, and the low dump height with the new truck gate stop makes unloading smoother and feeding more efficient.

Left/right independent conveyor and auger drives, with segmented material-level control and ultrasonic sensing, keep the material level stable and even. The conveyor has a reverse function to clear blockages. The narrow auger box with reverse paddles reduces center segregation, and large-diameter, large-pitch auger flights distribute material at low speed. The whole auger lifts hydraulically with no-tool bolts for quick changes between paving thicknesses.

The console slides left and right and tilts fore and aft to suit different operators. The floating seat swivels outside the machine for a clear view of paving. The fiberglass roof extends on both sides for shade and rain. A USB power port charges phones, and the seat armrest has a cup holder and phone slot. A manual hydraulic pump lifts the cab roof and exhaust pipe together for transport, and mirrors show the left and right auger material level.

The wide-opening engine hood and side doors put every pump, control valve and filter within reach. An electric centralized lubrication system greases the scraper conveyor and auger bearings automatically, and an electric diesel spray device simplifies asphalt cleanup and cuts daily service time.
