Shantui
The L68K-G is built on Shantui's Stage IV platform with a 6.8 t rated load. A newly matched powertrain gives efficient, reliable transmission, and the integrated cab offers more operating space, while flow-amplified steering keeps the machine light to turn.
It is widely used in ports, coal mines and sand and gravel plants.
A Shantui-spec low-speed, high-torque Weichai engine on the latest WP10H platform, about 10% more fuel-efficient than the WP10 generation, with empty, medium and heavy power modes. The fuel-water separator alarms on water level, and the rear-mounted 330 L diesel tank supports continuous shifts and improves stability.
A purpose-built planetary transmission lifts travel speed and draws 205 kN of drawbar pull, raising combined-cycle output by over 15%. The reinforced drive axle has an oscillating rear axle for rough sites, and four front-axle brake calipers give high braking torque.
Reinforced box-section front and rear frames are strong and durable; the 3500 mm wheelbase gives stable running. The wide-bore articulation spreads stress and uses double tapered-roller bearings at the upper and lower joints for high load capacity. The optimized linkage is fast, with breakout force up to 205 kN. A reinforced, reworked bucket fills better on every pass.
A step-motor digital instrument reports live vehicle data with self-diagnosis alarms. The tilting steering column and integrated relay and fuse boxes simplify service. Work equipment uses pilot hydraulics for light, precise control, Chinese voice alarms and an air horn suit busy sites, and LED work lamps with a cab reading light and audio system come as standard.
The air tank sits beside the access ladder for easy draining, and greasing can be done from ground level. Wide-opening side covers leave large service space; air, fuel, oil and transmission filters are within reach, with the fuel-water alarm reminding the operator to drain water.
