The DGL800M is a wheeled road cold recycler intended for upgrading existing asphalt pavements on highways, chiefly in-place base-layer cold recycling. It also performs in-place mixing of stabilized base and sub-base material on highways, urban and rural roads, airports, ports, parking areas and plazas.
The machine uses a belt-driven mixing rotor rather than a hydraulic drive, with a large V-belt wrap angle and automatic belt tensioning. It carries a front-mounted cab that slides sideways for rotor visibility, four-camera vision, automatic water spray and multiple steering modes including crab steer.
Weichai electronic engine meets China non-road Stage III emissions with good parts commonality and lower service cost. Three power modes (idle, medium and heavy load) match output to the job. The travel hydraulics use one pump and four motors with a flow divider-combiner valve to distribute oil evenly across the four motors.
The front-mounted cab gives a good view and slides sideways to the right for direct observation of the rotor. Controls are laid out for comfort, and a four-camera system provides all-round visibility. A large display lets the operator preset and adjust working parameters, and oil-level display, GPS and a reverse alarm are standard.
An automatic water-spray mode adjusts water flow from recycling depth and working speed. Separate front and rear steering, follow-up steering and crab steering give flexible maneuvering. Front and rear support wheels use four-post cylinder suspension with an upgraded four-wheel leveling system that keeps all wheels moving together and supports slope grading under preset control.
The rotor uses a belt mechanical drive with a large V-belt wrap angle and automatic tensioner for longer belt life; Shantui quotes 10-15% better efficiency than a traditional hydraulic rotor drive. The tool layout is optimized with imported cutting tools.
A reinforced working gearbox handles tougher base layers, and hydraulic components come from established domestic and international brands.
Opening the engine hood gives direct access to the engine, hydraulic pump and air filter for routine maintenance.
