Front and rear dual drive uses Shantui's own drive technology, so the machine keeps working under heavy loads and pulls out of slippery conditions. The front section weighs 24 t; the 1.8 m diameter drum and 2.4 m compaction width give influence depth over 2 m. Multiple working modes suit a wide range of jobs. The shock-free drum starts and stops vibration smoothly, which improves the reliability of the vibration system.

The Weichai high-power engine uses PMS powertrain control technology to cut overall fuel consumption by 10 percent. Engine service intervals run to 500 hours, which reduces service frequency.

The spacious cab uses sound-insulating foam and premium acoustic trim, with a roof-outlet heating and air-conditioning unit as standard. Six LED lights support night work and a rear-view camera is standard. An air-suspension seat with ventilation and heating is optional.

The water tank has a removable dust screen for easy cleaning and a level sight glass for checks. Service filters are grouped for replacement under the electrically opened hood, and the engine oil drain and water drain are routed externally. A large storage box carries service parts and tools.

A new electro-hydraulic lever integrates travel, braking and vibration start/stop. The color display includes a machine health system: power-on self-check gives fault warning and self-diagnosis. Multi-speed working modes with automatic vibration start/stop handle complex jobs. Manual-assisted and unmanned driving modes are available, and radar warning plus braking can be selected in assisted mode.

Compaction measurement, full-vehicle camera and padfoot drum are available.
