Shantui
The SRK05-G is a 4.3 t front-steel, rear-pneumatic combination roller built on Shantui's new small-machine platform, with upgrades in body design, service access and operator comfort.
It is aimed at road maintenance and the asphalt work of municipal, rural and residential sites, and at tight spots such as around manhole covers, green belts and footpaths. The compact, maneuverable machine is a good fit for municipal upkeep and construction work.
The Kubota turbocharged engine handles high altitudes and runs at low speed for low fuel use. Dual-frequency vibration up to 60 Hz suits a wide range of jobs. The small turning radius, good gradeability and large ground clearance improve site access, and top speed reaches 12 km/h for faster moves between sites.
The front steel drum with rear pneumatic tires makes one machine do several jobs. A large rotomolded water tank offers five spray levels, so the front and rear wheels can spray together, the front drum alone, or the rear tires with oil or an oil-water mix. Edge cutting, roadside lighting and flip assistance are optional to support the job.
The streamlined design keeps front visibility to under 1 m x 0.9 m for precise compaction. Dual-lever controls with integrated function buttons suit different operators, and the 160 mm sliding console on each side helps edge compaction. A 4.3-inch color display shows machine parameters and alarms in real time.
The hood opens to a wide angle with service points grouped in one place. Drum bearings are maintenance-free, and the steel drum has a long 2,000 h service interval.
