Shantui
The RE22-X is Shantui’s battery-electric single-drum vibratory roller. It keeps the compaction performance of a 22 t class diesel roller while replacing the engine with a 301.6 kWh on-board battery pack, so there is no tailpipe emission on site.
The machine is built for sub-base, base and fill compaction of non-cohesive soils such as gravel, crushed stone and sand-gravel mixes, and suits large foundation works where low-noise, emission-free operation is required.
Extra-wide pressurized cab with roof-vent air conditioning and fresh-air exchange. Premium interior trim, a pillar-less front section for a clear view of the drum, and large storage compartments.
The sealed cab keeps ear-level noise below 78 dB. A three-stage vibration-isolation mount lets the operator work continuous 600-minute shifts without fatigue. The joystick integrates direction reversal, amplitude selection and vibration on/off; six LED work lights support night shifts, and an 8-inch color display keeps machine data in view.
The shockless vibratory drum starts and stops smoothly. Balanced front/rear weight distribution gives even mat finishes, and compaction density is on par with the diesel-class machines.
Front and rear tow hooks make recovery straightforward; the cup holder is integrated into the right console; a reversing camera is standard equipment.
Hydraulic filter elements are grouped for fast service, and the electric hood opener makes daily checks quick.
Compaction measurement, a 360-degree camera system and a padfoot drum are available on request.
The Weichai 301.6 kWh battery pack supports more than five hours of continuous working. Pure electric drive means zero tailpipe emission, and total operating cost runs more than 60% below the equivalent diesel machine.
Multiple vibration frequency bands cover different soil types. Real-time speed readout and multi-range travel control bring the machine quickly to the target working speed.
