Shantui
The SK135F-G is a wide-body mining truck built around Shandong Heavy Industry Group components: a Weichai WP15H engine, Fast 8DS280 gearbox, HanDe axles and a Fast-Eaton ceramic clutch. Shantui's own chassis tuning is aimed at high uptime on mine haul roads.
The truck is aimed at open-pit mine and quarry haulage where a 90 t payload and a durable, service-friendly drivetrain matter more than on-highway comfort.
The Weichai WP15H engine is highly modular, which reduces the number of possible failure points. The 8-speed Fast gearbox shifts smoothly and carries 2,800 N·m of torque, with a hydraulic retarder as standard for safer downhill running. The HanDe 50 t dual-reduction drive axle is built for heavy mine duty.
The channel-beam ladder frame resists bending and torsion on rough mine roads. The equal-width reinforced frame and integrated bodywork give a stronger, better-located body-to-frame joint, and the flexible frame spreads stress so it does not concentrate into cracks.
A combined V-rod layout takes cornering and lateral forces off the rear leaf springs, which improves rear-suspension reliability and spring life. The front hydro-pneumatic and rear leaf-spring setup (15 leaves, 100 mm wide) balances mine-site stiffness with a cushioned ride.
The cab is a three-piece structure (cab body, engine cover and right platform), with the cab body mounted independently to the left rail so frame twist does not reach the operator. The narrow single-side cab still leaves enough working room, and the smaller cabin heats and cools efficiently.
The air cleaner is rated at 4,000 m³/h with filtration efficiency above 99.97% and an original resistance under 3 kPa. A blow-back pre-cleaner extends service intervals.
Cab insulation, double glazing and heated mirrors are available, together with a fuel-fired heater and heated body floor for cold-site operation.
