Shantui
The LE39-X5 is an upgraded 3 t-class battery-electric wheel loader from Shantui, with family styling and a three-electric driveline (battery, motor, controller) built for efficient site work. It is aimed at farms, small paper mills, biomass power plants, agriculture and forestry sites, and unmanned-operation scenarios.
The machine produces zero local emissions at the workplace, pairing running-cost savings with compliance on green-build sites.
Two battery options, 150 kWh and 185 kWh, cover different shift lengths, with a typical working range of 6-10 hours. Single-gun fast charging fills the pack in about 1.5 hours. Shantui states running cost is about RMB 190,000 lower per year than a same-class diesel loader over 3,000 operating hours.
A FAST two-speed electric transmission built for battery loaders gives quick shift response and about 8% higher transmission efficiency. A high-torque travel motor drives the gearbox directly without a torque converter, lifting efficiency by about 20%. Speed steps up smoothly from zero, so starting is gentle and shock-free.
The one-piece fully sealed cab cuts noise, dust and heat, with a high-visibility seat, heating and air conditioning, a rear-view camera and LED work lights. Work equipment is pilot-controlled with adaptive pump-motor speed for lower energy use; the joystick integrates horn, FNR and gear selection.
The machine carries over the proven 3 t-class work-equipment platform with an optimized linkage for fast movement, high breakout force and strong lift capacity. High-strength design with CAE analysis removes local weak points for severe duty, and a wide range of work-tool configurations covers special applications.
The new sheet-metal hood opens wide scissor-style for large service space. Filters are grouped at the articulation point for quick replacement, and greasing points are routed to ground level for fast daily lubrication.
