Shantui
The L56-G develops Shantui's L56 Stage IV platform as an all-rounder in the 5.8 t class, with a 3250 mm wheelbase and mid-position articulation for balanced load distribution. It is designed for medium-to-heavy duty, with strong output, quiet operation and comfortable control.
Typical sites are sand quarries, earthwork projects and ore handling. Rated load is 5800 kg, bucket capacity 3 m3 and engine output 170 kW at 2200 rpm.
Weichai WP10H Stage IV engine with multiple fuel injection for softer combustion and lower noise. P, S and E power modes match engine output to duty, balancing performance and fuel use. The fuel-water separator alarms on water level for reliability.
Shantui-built BD4320 electric countershaft transmission is matched to the engine for quick acceleration. In combined travel-and-work cycles, drawbar pull and lift force stay strong. The Shantui torque converter stores high power, and F4/R3 gear steps suit medium-heavy duty; the reinforced drive axle uses a four-planet-wheel wheel-end design for high load capacity.
The integrated sealed cab holds noise around 80 dB with upgraded mounts. Heating and air conditioning are optional, the suspended seat adjusts in multiple directions and reclines for rest, and extra leg and foot vents improve cooling.
Reinforced box-section front and rear frames pair with the 3250 mm wheelbase for stable running. The wide-bore articulation uses tapered-roller bearings with sealed lubrication, and the aligned articulation keeps front and rear tyres tracking together to cut resistance and tyre wear. The common work-tool platform and bucket shape give a fast, strong linkage.
The car-stamped hood, wide side covers and rear window open on two gas struts with large service space. Air, fuel, oil and transmission filters sit on the same engine side within reach, the external air tank drains easily, and centralized greasing points route to ground level.
The inset combination instrument stays out of the line of sight, with electrical buttons grouped within reach. The tilting steering column and integrated relay and fuse boxes simplify service. The step-motor instrument is accurate with fault alarms, remote fault monitoring and self-diagnosis, and LED work lamps plus a cab reading light and audio system come as standard.
