Shantui
The L55-G is a 5.5 t wheel loader built on the Shantui L55-C5 platform and meeting China non-road Stage IV emissions. It pairs a Shantui-made high-ratio 32C planetary gearbox with a new, larger cab for better powertrain matching and operator comfort.
The 3,250 mm wheelbase and mid-position articulation give balanced load distribution. Typical duties include mining, quarries, ports, concrete works and urban material handling.
A Weichai WP10H Stage IV engine rated at 170 kW is rematched to a low-speed, high-torque curve for high combined efficiency. Empty, medium and heavy power modes match fuel use to the job, and a fuel-water separator with water-level alarm reminds the operator to drain daily.
Shantui-made 32C high-ratio transmission and torque converter are rematched to the Stage IV engine for steady speed output and fast response. The torque converter overrunning clutch is reinforced for heavy duty, and the flange output uses a face-spline connection. The swing center aligns with the drive axle center to lower the machine's center of gravity and absorb working vibration.
The one-piece sealed cab keeps noise around 80 dB with improved dampening. Air conditioning is optional; the suspended seat adjusts infinitely, and the digital step-motor instrument cluster shows real-time machine data with self-diagnosis alarms.
Reinforced front and rear frames, a 3,250 mm wheelbase, wide-pitch articulation with maintenance-free tapered roller bearings, and center-aligned articulation that keeps front and rear tire tracks aligned to cut steering resistance and tire wear.
Wide-opening side guards, grouped filters within arm's reach, an external air tank for easy draining, and centralized lubrication so greasing can be done from ground level. A platform-based CAST design shares common parts across the family for easier stocking and repair.
Flush combination instruments, grouped switches, a tilting steering column, integrated relay and fuse boxes, LED work lights, and remote fault monitoring with self-diagnosis.
