The SE215G is a 22 t-class hydraulic excavator built around a new-generation electronically controlled positive-flow hydraulic system, with a larger-displacement pump and main valve.
Shorter arm and boom start–stop shocks make the controls feel smoother; revised internal valve galleries cut pressure loss, so more of the engine’s power reaches the bucket and less fuel is wasted as heat.
The Weichai WP7H excavator engine delivers high torque at low rpm, low fuel use and China Stage IV compliance. Aftertreatment follows a DOC+DPF+EGR route with no urea injection, cutting particulate and NOx emissions without extra servicing.
The reinforced tubular-frame cab gives ROPS-grade strength and impact protection; the larger track frame keeps the machine level while digging, loading and slewing. The sealed, low-noise cab has powerful air conditioning, and TPE floor mats stay odour-free.
Boom and arm use large-section box structures reinforced at loaded points. A wide choice of boom, arm and bucket combinations covers different duties, and the wear-steel bucket resists abrasion.
Oil and fuel filters are grouped behind the right-side door. The split-opening engine hood is gas-strut assisted, and coolant refill plus air-filter exchange are quick to do.
Four working modes — heavy, economy, breaker and auto — let the operator match the job, and each mode allows low/mid/high speed tuning to personal preference.
