Shantui
The SD15-G is a 14 t-class torque-converter crawler bulldozer rated at 117 kW. Its drivetrain is shared with the long-serving SD13 dozer, with the torque converter, gearbox, central drive and final drive all built in-house by Shantui.
The machine is aimed at pushing, excavating and backfilling soil and loose materials on road, railway, mine and airport sites, and it is used on rural and urban road construction, water conservancy and mine infrastructure work.
Dongfeng Cummins B5.9 electronic engine meets China non-road Stage IV emissions. The aftertreatment uses an EGR + DOC + DPF route with no urea dosing, which keeps running cost down.
The drivetrain is shared with the SD13 bulldozer and has a long field record. The tuned hydraulic torque converter delivers high transmission efficiency, and the core components are all Shantui-made.
Travel uses mechanical-linkage controls carried over from the SD13, while the work equipment is pilot-controlled for precise fine movement. An 8-inch LCD integrates a rear-view camera, and the seat has independent adjustable padded armrests.
The enlarged pressurized cab integrates ROPS/FOPS protection with a wide field of view. A rear-mounted air conditioner with fresh-air exchange is standard, together with Bluetooth radio, USB port, storage box, cup holder and sunblind.
The Shantui-made undercarriage (rollers, idlers, sprockets and track shoes) is exported worldwide and outlasts competing units. Long ground contact length gives smooth running; a straight-tilt, municipal or angle blade, drawbar and ripper can be fitted. Six LED work lights and a 280 L fuel tank support 16-plus-hour shifts.
Three-stage fuel filtration uses centralized filter housings. The fan shaft and water-pump bearings are lubrication-free, the side guards open fully for large service space, and the work valves are external for easy inspection.
