A heavy-duty closed hydraulic system has two infinitely variable speed ranges with smooth start and stop, which reduces shoving of the mat. The four-front / five-rear tire layout gives high contact pressure and high output. The front axle oscillates at three points for even compaction on uneven ground. An automatic oil spray system prevents asphalt from sticking to the tires, and a centralized inflation system keeps tire pressures even for a flatter mat.

DOC + DPF aftertreatment needs no urea dosing. A one-key economy setting cuts fuel use by about 10% on medium and light duty. The 60 L hydraulic oil tank keeps filter and oil changes inexpensive.

Air, fuel, oil and hydraulic filters are all external, serviceable with the hood open. Engine oil drain, water drain and axle oil drain are plumbed out for quick service. The air tank, battery, axle, booster pump and water pump sit behind hinged covers or side doors. Greasing points are exposed, with rear-wheel points grouped at ground level.

The 60 L hydraulic tank keeps service costs low. Rotomolded water, hydraulic and fuel tanks stay clean and free of corrosion. Shantui pump-and-engine matching tuning balances productivity and fuel economy.

Travel, parking, auxiliary and emergency brakes cover every duty. A 360-degree surround-view system monitors the machine with no blind corners. A non-contact collision system detects obstacles at distance and brakes in time to remove the risk.
