The SRD14-G is a 14 t-class double-drum vibratory roller for compacting asphalt and concrete pavement layers. Working in train with a paver lets the paving train deliver its full output and quality.
It is aimed at high-grade highways, modern airfields, quays and large parking lots. The 125 kW F4.5 engine and Linde vibration hydraulics provide large power reserve and fast vibration start.
The 125 kW engine provides large power reserve. The Linde hydraulic system delivers high vibration efficiency and fast vibration start, and the shock-free drum gives even, smooth compaction. Roller-specific vibration bearings with patented drum lubrication are designed for a theoretical life above 10,000 hours. Two speed ranges with fine adjustment in low range give smooth starts and stops and faster site moves.
Soft start and stop are controlled by the on-board computer. Step-frequency control through the electronic joystick and knob keeps compaction pace consistent on the same pass. An 8-inch colour display shows functions and alarms with proactive service reminders, and manual/auto water spray and vibration control keep operation simple.
The new wide cab with upgraded interior has heating and air conditioning with roof outlets. The entire operator platform rotates 180 degrees for comfortable forward and reverse running. Sound-damping design keeps in-cab noise below 80 dB.
All pivot points are grease-free by design. Engine and hydraulic filters are externally mounted for ground-level service, the radiator guard is detachable, and the water tank filler neck is low enough to fill from the ground.
