Shantui
The SRC23-G is a 23 t-class landfill compactor built on a heavy line-load platform. It uses its own weight to push, break up and statically compact loose refuse.
The machine spreads, levels and compacts waste on large landfill sites, and it can also work as an embankment compactor. It is aimed at municipal landfill operations for mid-sized and large cities.
A Weichai WP10H Stage IV electronic engine keeps the machine in its best operating range for consistent compaction quality. The torque-converter mechanical drivetrain is re-matched with a high-capacity converter built for the harsh refuse environment. A large-volume blade spreads waste during compaction. The 530 L fuel tank supports long shifts.
The new wide-body cab with fitted interior is built for long shifts. The overhead air conditioner uses multiple ducts with top vents, and integrates a negative-ion air purifier. Front and rear LED cab lights support night work, and pilot controls are light to operate.
The hood opens electrically through a wide rear angle so every service point is visible. A rear service door makes refueling easy. Service points are grouped and filters are easy to replace. Transmission dipstick, engine oil dipstick and water level are easy to read, with drains plumbed out. Access panels sit near the main hydraulic valves. The blade-to-front-frame joint uses a bolted cover and ball joint that is easy to assemble and quick to replace.
Pilot levers raise and lower the blade for light, precise control. The steering wheel sits in a comfortable zone with an armrest elbow support. The shift lever is integrated on the left side of the steering column.
The frame is validated by CAE simulation and the cab carries FOPS/ROPS certification. The travel brake sits inside a fully sealed chamber, keeping refuse away from the brake and protecting service life and braking safety. A full underside guard plate seals the bottom of the machine, keeping it clean and protecting internal core parts from refuse damage.
