Shantui
The SR22M-G is a 22 t-class single-drum vibratory roller for compacting base, sub-base and fill materials across a wide range of soils. It is aimed at high-grade highways, railways, airfields and port embankments.
Power comes from a 147 kW Weichai WP4.6N engine meeting China non-road Stage IV, coupled to a high-pressure closed hydraulic system purpose-built for rollers. The 2,140 mm drum delivers up to 410 kN centrifugal force.
A Linde high-pressure closed-loop hydraulic system, purpose-built for rollers, provides large power reserve and smooth running under heavy loads. The matched machine-to-drum ratio suits varied jobs, and the drum starts and stops vibration without shock, which improves vibration-system reliability.
The Weichai high-power engine uses PMS powertrain control technology and lowers overall fuel consumption by about 10%. Engine service intervals extend to 500 hours, which reduces maintenance frequency.
The enlarged cab with upgraded interior raises ride comfort. Six LED work lights support night work, and a rear-view camera is standard. Sound-insulating lining keeps in-cab noise below 80 dB. A roof-outlet heating and air-conditioning unit with fresh-air exchange and a three-stage damping system support long shifts.
The dust guard of the cooling package is easy to remove for cleaning. Service filters are grouped together and can be changed with the hood open. Engine oil drain and radiator water drain are routed externally, and a water-level sight glass simplifies daily checks.
A new electronic joystick integrates gear shifting, direction changes and vibration on/off. A colour display runs the machine health-management system, with power-on self-checking for fault warning and self-diagnosis. A one-key constant-speed function adjusts the engine throttle automatically as load changes, for consistent compaction quality.
Compaction measurement, a full-view camera system, a padfoot drum and an electric hood opener are available on request.
