Shantui
The SR14M-G is a 14 t-class single-drum vibratory roller for compacting sub-base, base course and fill materials. It is aimed at high-grade highways, railways, airfields and port embankments.
Power comes from a 129 kW Weichai WP4.6N engine meeting China non-road Stage IV. The 2,130 mm drum delivers up to 290 kN centrifugal force, among the highest in the class for this weight.
The matched power-to-weight ratio suits a wide range of sub-base and base-course jobs. The centrifugal force is among the highest in the class, which raises compaction output per pass.
The engine runs two power curves, for heavy-duty and light-duty modes, to keep fuel use low. The EGR + DOC + DPF aftertreatment needs no urea, and the 500-hour service interval cuts maintenance frequency.
The enlarged cab with upgraded interior gives a wide field of view. LED work lights support night work, and an optional rear-view camera improves rear visibility. Sound-insulating lining limits outside noise in the cab.
Service filters are mounted at the rear of the machine for easy reach. Engine oil drain and radiator water drain are routed externally, a water-level sight glass simplifies checks, and the cooling-package dust guard is easy to remove.
The machine health-management system runs power-on self-checking for fault warning and self-diagnosis. A one-key constant-speed function holds working speed, and the engine throttle control adjusts automatically as load changes, to keep compaction quality consistent.
A padfoot drum, a rear-view camera and buoyancy tyres are available on request.
