Shantui
The SK135 pairs a Weichai WP15H engine, Fast 8DS280 gearbox, HanDe axles and a Fast-Eaton ceramic clutch on Shantui's own chassis. The powertrain is tuned for sustained output and high uptime on mine haul roads.
With a 90 t payload and a 50 m³ body, the truck sits in the core open-pit haulage class where low cycle cost and parts availability decide the fleet.
The WP15H engine is highly modular to cut failure points, and the engine-to-gearbox disconnect connection uses a main driveshaft tube of 140 mm outside diameter for reliable power transfer. The HanDe HDZ50T dual drive axle combines a large reduction ratio with stiffer axle housing, stronger shaft ends and tighter fasteners.
The frame has been upgraded from 10+10 mm to 12+12 mm double rails, with rail height raised from 420 mm to 430 mm. The body-to-frame joint is redesigned so the whole truck behaves as one structure. The front suspension is hydro-pneumatic, the rear uses a solid balance axle with linkage, and the ball-jointed triangular torque rods cushion longitudinal and lateral forces while compensating wear.
The 50 m³ body makes full use of the payload rating. 16.00R29 tires on 11.5/2.5-29 rims hold their own on rough mine roads.
Full-hydraulic steering is light to operate, and an added steering reservoir improves hydraulic-oil cooling. The dual-circuit brake system uses six 30-inch dual-chamber brake chambers for full stopping force. The narrow sealed cab is quiet and gives a wide view out.
