Shantui
The LE80-X5 is Shantui's battery-electric wheel loader with a streamlined family body and precisely tuned electric control. It produces zero emissions at work and is aimed at large mixing plants, coal yards and mines.
It combines economic and environmental benefits for customers targeting green, efficient operation.
The battery pack is fully enclosed for much better water and dust protection, with 433 or 453 kWh versions for different range needs. A standard dual-gun fast-charge inlet works with generic EV chargers of different power. Operating cost is about RMB 136 per hour below a same-class diesel machine; at 3,000 hours a year that is about RMB 408,000 saved.
An electric-controlled shift-fork gearbox has no transmission filter, fast response, little shock and about 8% better efficiency. A high-torque travel motor drives the gearbox directly with no input shaft and no torque converter, raising transmission efficiency by about 20% versus the diesel version. A heavy-duty reinforced drive axle carries high loads, and motor speed varies steplessly from zero for smooth starts.
The extra-large fully sealed cab cuts noise, dust and heat with wide visibility; the molded armrest box follows the high-comfort seat, and one-key start is standard. Work tools use pilot control with light effort; the lever integrates horn, FNR and range selection. Auto pump-stop and smart wake-up cut standby noise and energy.
The new work-tool platform has an optimized linkage for fast movement, strong breakout and high lift. High-strength design with CAE optimization removes local weak spots for severe duty, and a rich range of configurations covers special applications.
The transmission filler and several filters are grouped near the hinge, a centralized lubrication system is standard, and the hood opens electrically with one key for easy daily maintenance.
