Shantui
The LE70-X5 is Shantui's battery-electric wheel loader with a streamlined body, precisely tuned electric control and an efficient hydraulic system. It produces zero emissions at work and is aimed at heavy sites such as mines, power plants, coal mines and steel mills.
It combines economic and environmental benefits for customers targeting green, efficient operation.
A large LFP battery pack comes in 350, 357, 423, 433 or 453 kWh versions to match range needs, fully enclosed for dust and water protection. A standard dual-gun fast-charge inlet works with generic EV chargers. Operating cost is about RMB 125 per hour below a same-class diesel machine; at 3,000 hours a year that is about RMB 375,000 saved.
A FAST electric-controlled two-speed gearbox gives fast shift response and high efficiency. A high-torque travel motor drives the gearbox directly without a torque converter, raising transmission efficiency by about 20%. A Shantui-built reinforced drive axle carries heavy loads, and motor speed varies steplessly from zero for smooth starts.
A fixed-variable hydraulic system distributes bypass flow sensibly so combined work-tool movements are efficient and energy-saving. Flow-amplified steering makes the wheel light and agile, and a full hydraulic braking system is standard.
A dedicated digital instrument cluster for electric loaders displays electric-system parameters, fault diagnosis and audible/visual alarms in real time. It also supports work-mode selection and parameter calibration, and the machine control program can be customized and upgraded remotely.
The one-piece fully sealed cab cuts noise, dust and heat with wide visibility, and includes a high-performance seat, heating/cooling air conditioning, rear-view camera and LED lights. The new sheet-metal hood has sharp, hard lines and higher overall strength. Pilot work-tool control needs less effort; the lever integrates horn, FNR and range selection. The upgraded air-suspension seat and one-piece molded armrest box follow the seat in height and reach.
Work tools and front and rear frames use high-strength design with CAE optimization for severe duty. The optimized linkage gives fast movement, strong breakout and high lift, with a rich range of configurations for special applications.
Centralized lubrication is standard, the transmission filler and grease points are routed outward, the battery and radiator are grouped together, and the hood opens electrically with one key.
