Shantui SS34D-G 39 t conveyor track-shifting machine on the SD34-G dozer chassis: Weichai WP13 269 kW, 16 t lifting capacity. Relocates mine belt conveyors and converts back to a dozer.
The SS34D-G is a purpose-built track-shifting machine developed on the Shantui SD34-G dozer chassis. A Weichai WP13 Stage IV engine with air-to-air charge cooling and electronic control delivers 269 kW.
Its main job is relocating belt conveyors in open-pit mines. On site the machine lifts the conveyor string and shifts it in controlled steps; the work equipment can be exchanged so the same chassis also works as a dozer.
The 16 t lifting head raises the conveyor up to 1,000 mm and moves it in steps of up to 800 mm, so one machine handles line moves that would otherwise need excavation and re-installation.
The SS34D-G is first specified for belt-conveyor line moves in mining operations. The chassis also adapts to road-building and general earthmoving once the shifting attachment is exchanged for a dozer blade.
