Shantui
The Shantui SP70-G is a China Stage IV tracked pipe layer rated for 70 t of maximum lifting capacity. It is powered by a Cummins M14 or Weichai WP13G engine rated at 269 kW, with energy-saving operation, high productivity and low running cost.
Travel uses single-lever electro-hydraulic control and the work equipment uses pilot control: flexible, precise and comfortable. The wide-visibility cab with fresh-air HVAC maintains a pressurized environment, and the machine adapts to a range of pipeline conditions.
The SP70-G is mainly used to carry, lay, weld and lower medium- and large-diameter oil and gas pipes on trunk-line construction.
The Cummins or Weichai engine, shared with Shantui bulldozers, meets China Stage IV with a high-efficiency injection pump. It is a mature, widely used design with common parts and low maintenance cost.
A new pressurized cab offers space, good visibility and a tight seal, with a fresh-air HVAC system and noise as low as 76 dB(A) at the operator's ear. The seat and armrests adjust widely for a comfortable working posture.
The undercarriage is stable with low average fuel use. The boom covers a wide working range and the hook raises and lowers quickly; loaded travel has solid pulling power and lifting capacity. Hook, boom and counterweight allow infinitely variable, combined movements, and both winches use three-stage planetary reduction for a high safety factor and mechanical efficiency. A load moment limiter monitors the job in real time to keep lifting safe.
Boom hoist, load hoist and counterweight are controlled by pressure-reducing pilot valves acting on hydraulically operated directional valves: simple, light and with good fine control. Hook and boom share one lever and the counterweight another, so the operator can micro-adjust each function. The winch motors run high-efficiency balanced valves to prevent secondary load drift and empty-hook shake, and the hook winch clutch adds a free-fall function.
Structural parts inherit the proven Shantui product line for stable quality. Wiring harnesses run through seamless corrugated tubes with a high protection rating, and core hydraulic and electrical components are imported for reliability.
