Shantui

The Shantui SD60-G is a strategic mining-class crawler bulldozer at about 70 t. Optimized matching of its power, drivetrain, hydraulics and electrics keeps fuel consumption and noise low, while the electric travel control reduces operator effort.
Several operating modes can be preset to match different working habits. The heavy undercarriage uses elastic track-roller suspension to take on the harshest sites, raising productivity and lowering the cost per hour.
The SD60-G is built around open-pit mine overburden and bulk material work, and its oversized single-shank ripper is capable of stripping rock layers.
The Cummins QSK19 electronic engine delivers strong output with low fuel use and proven worldwide service support. Its modular common-rail fuel system (MCRS) meets China Stage IV, and a Cyclone dual pre-cleaner intake guards against early engine failure.
A lock-up torque converter adapts output torque to load: hydraulic drive at low speed, direct mechanical drive at high speed, saving more than 10% fuel. A normally closed brake provides parking braking and prevents hill roll-back, and the modular final drive mounts independently of the main frame for easier repair.
A 21 MPa high-pressure hydraulic system keeps components compact while giving fine metering control. Work equipment runs through a pilot single lever, and the electric single-lever travel control offers fingertip shifting.
The high-strength seven-sided cab is spacious, wide-view and well sealed to block outside noise. A high-capacity heater and air conditioner feed air through sensibly placed vents, and the deluxe heated air-suspension seat adjusts several ways to reduce fatigue.
The standard 18.9 m3 semi-U blade brings large volume and high output, built with a heavy box structure and wear-resistant materials. The oversized single-shank ripper provides strong penetration for rock stripping.
A K-type roller suspension gives the undercarriage a floating travel for a smoother ride and longer machine life, while the larger ground contact improves traction on rough ground. A thermostatic fan adjusts speed to demand, and Shantui-made wear parts such as track components, blade edges and tips last longer.
