The Shantui DH17-G XL is a hydrostatic crawler dozer. Its closed-loop hydrostatic drive delivers strong output with high productivity and low fuel use, and the wide-visibility cab is built for tougher sites, per Shantui. It is aimed at pushing, excavating and backfilling earthwork and bulk material on highways, railways, mines and airports, as well as urban and rural road and water projects.
On the Shantui SSC (Smart Construction) platform, the DH17-G can be upgraded toward AI operation - work-condition assessment, dynamic path planning and centimeter-grade blade control.
