Weichai WP13 mining engine series expands with Stage V edition

The Weichai WP13 12.8-litre inline-6 heavy-duty engine platform has been expanded with a Stage V-certified export edition for wide-body mining trucks, off-highway dump trucks and stationary power applications.

Rated output covers 375–405 kW (510–550 hp) at 1,800 rpm, with peak torque of 2,550 N·m available across 950–1,400 rpm. The Stage V edition carries selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) after-treatment, enabling operation in EU and other regulated export markets without re-engineering by the OEM.

The engine shares its core architecture with the China Non-road Stage IV version already running in Shantui, LOVOL and HanDe-equipped mining fleets, which means spare-parts commonality and after-sales training are already in place for overseas dealers.

Customers in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East can order the WP13 Stage V from SDHI Group with factory-direct FOB or CIF pricing, together with a 12-month warranty and English-language service manual.
