HanDe HDZ16T steering axle for wide-body mining trucks reaches 1 million km B10

Shaanxi HanDe's HDZ16T 16-tonne steering front axle for wide-body mining trucks has passed field validation with a B10 reliability rating of 1 million km.

The axle is engineered for off-highway wide-body dump trucks in the 45-tonne-and-up class. Key dimensions: leaf-spring center distance 1,090 mm, end-face distance 3,200 mm, wheel-hub bolt PCD 425 mm, inner/outer steering angles 38° / 28.5°. Topology-optimised castings save around 10% of weight versus domestic peers while maintaining braking torque.

The HDZ16T now ships as a standard option for Shantui and HanDe-built wide-body mining trucks, and is also available as an aftermarket replacement axle for fleets already operating in Africa, Central Asia and Southeast Asia.

SDHI Group exports the HDZ16T with matching leaf springs, tie rods and brake chambers, and can quote complete front-axle assemblies.
