LOVOL FR1500F 145 t ultra-large mining excavator enters open-pit fleet

LOVOL Heavy Industry has delivered its FR1500F ultra-large mining excavator to an overseas open-pit copper mine, marking the model's first export deployment outside China.

The FR1500F has an operating weight of 145,000 kg, a bucket capacity of 8.0–12.0 m³ and is powered by a 680 kW Weichai engine running at 1,800 rpm. Transport dimensions are 15,600 × 5,690 × 6,215 mm, with a 7,600 mm boom, 3,400 mm arm and 750 mm wide track shoes. Fuel consumption is rated below 110–120 L/h under typical load.

The machine uses a fully electronic control system with closed-loop rotary hydraulics, allowing rotary-braking energy recovery and decoupling from the engine to reduce load. It is offered with a 5-year / 10,000-hour factory warranty.
