FAST 16JS200 16-speed transmission certified for heavy long-haul export

Shaanxi FAST's 16JS200 16-speed twin-countershaft manual transmission has been certified for export to heavy long-haul tractor and dump truck markets.

The unit handles 2,000 N·m of input torque at up to 2,600 rpm. Its forward gear ratios run 17.04 / 14.03 / 11.66 / 9.60 / 8.04 / 6.62 / 5.53 / 4.55 / 3.74 / 3.08 / 2.56 / 2.11 / 1.77 / 1.45 / 1.21 / 1.00, with reverse ratios of 16.30 and 13.42 — a wide ratio span with small steps for both gradeability and fuel economy.

Factory options now include an integrated hydraulic retarder, power take-off (PTO) for dump trucks and mixer trucks, and an aluminium-housing variant that shaves roughly 30 kg off the iron version. B10 life is rated to 1.2 million km under typical long-haul duty.

SDHI Group supplies the 16JS200 with matching Weichai engines, HanDe drive axles and complete driveline kits.
